With some 25 kilometers of well maintained and perfectly tracked trails, the Katschberg-Rennweg region also offers a magical setting to cross-country enthusiasts.  The full Lungau trail network promises an additional 150 km - in other words, this is a true cross-country El Dorado. Gliding through valleys blanketed deep in snow, enjoying the sunshine and breathing in the clear, healthy air, gazing upon countryside glistening in the magical hoar frost - the Katschberg and the broader Lungau region offer all of this and more.  The trails are tracked for classic and skating technique, and range from easy to expert.

Ski Touring

Do you love the challenges of the uphills, that feeling of happiness once you get to the summit, and the exhilaration that comes with riding in the deep snow?  So that you, too, can enjoy this experience, a wide variety of ski tours, ranging from easy to expert, are offered through the beautiful, snowy countryside of the Lungau.
For passionate ski tourers, who love to enjoy the unique experience of skiing a mountain by moonlight, then returning to the valley down a run lit up only by the moon and stars, on certain days the slopes are even kept open after dark!
