Nordic Walking

Here with us on the Katschberg, the popular new sport of Nordic Walking has already become well established, which is why we boast an extensive network of Nordic Walking trails.

When you do Nordic Walking correctly, you improve physical fitness and aerobic endurance (your entire cardiovascular system), whilst you will also lose weight.
In addition to your legs, your upper body gets a workout, too, due to the targeted use of Nordic Walking techniques.
Stress is taken off the joints, while mobility in the neck and shoulder area improves.

Nordic Walking paths are away from the main roads, are kind on the joints, and accessible both summer and winter.  Enjoy the glorious alpine world of the Katschberg along our countless running and Nordic Walking routes,  ranging from easy to challenging.

Our program includes all-round support from the pros, from the initial check-up to wind-down afterwards, courtesy of the experts at outdoor school FRESCH:UP.

Monday through Friday, daily, by appointment. Daily sign-up before 5pm at FRESCH:UP, or at the Katschberg or Rennweg tourist offices.
